Shannon Gallagher is a Senior Quantitative Scientist at Verana Health, with a focus on expanding the use of polygenic risk scores for women with a strong family history of breast cancer. Prior experience includes roles as a Biostatistician II at Myriad Genetics, where Shannon utilized R and SQL for data analysis, and as a Maternal & Child Health Epidemiologist at the Utah Department of Health, providing technical assistance in epidemiological methods. Shannon has a solid background in research, having coordinated nationwide education programs at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and conducted studies at the National Institutes of Health. Shannon holds a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from the Colorado School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from Oberlin College.
