Public Health and Medical Oversight

The Public Health and Medical Oversight team at the Vermont Department of Health is responsible for ensuring the safety and effectiveness of public health policies and programs. This interdisciplinary team, comprising physicians, epidemiologists, and public health directors, works collaboratively to monitor health trends, oversee immunization initiatives, manage grants, and coordinate emergency preparedness efforts. Their mission is to protect the health of Vermonters through sound medical oversight and strategic program evaluation.
