Through our platform, participants can rest assured they are accessing the loan market’s most credible source of deal information.    About You:  Versana is looking for a well-rounded, customer-focused loan market expert who will be hands-on in a dynamic startup environment. As Product Manager, you will drive platform features by researching functionality and prioritizing development with our technology team. You will play an integral role in developing the strategy, roadmap, and features of our product and will have an impact on the evolution of our product. This role will report directly to the Head of Product and will work closely with senior leadership to grow Versana’s market presence.  

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of Product on product vision and execute plan to achieve success
• Lead product development from concept through development
• Drive research, requirements, and design specifications for platform capabilitiesto solve inefficiencies in the syndicated loan market
• Write high level requirements and collaborate on user storiesto define a backlog
• Support Business Analysts and Technology teams in carrying out development of the productand ensure final delivery meets requirements
• Manage customer feedback, requirements, and issues
• Provide polished product demonstrations to both internal teams and clients/prospects
• Participate in client advisory committees and sales efforts as a subject matter expert
• Collaborate with sales team to prepare for customer meetings
• Work closely with customer support team to provide assistance by answering loan market related questions and troubleshooting issues

Must Haves

• 5+ years of direct loan market experience
• 3+ years product management experience
• Knowledge of syndicated lending and loan market ecosystem
• Experience understanding various user personas and journeys, facilitating user-centric design
• Independent self-starter with a results-oriented mindset
• Strong and clear writing ability
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Self-motivated attitude and ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
• Excellent interpersonal skills and effectiveness working cross functionally
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Nice to Haves

• Understanding of relational databases, SQL skills a plus
• Knowledge of process and project management
