Anthony P Philpott Maicd

Anthony P Philpott is a CPA and MAICD with extensive work experience in compliance and risk management. Anthony P most recently served as the Chief Compliance Officer Australia (VP, Director) at Versapay, a position they started in November 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Compliance Officer at Navigate Global Payments from April 2021 to November 2021. Before that, they worked as the Head of Compliance (contract) at Allianz Australia from November 2020 to April 2021. Anthony P also served as the Principal at APP Consulting from March 2019 to November 2020.

Earlier in their career, Anthony held various leadership roles, including Head of Compliance Risk Assessment at Standard Chartered Bank from 2015 to February 2019, Director of Internal Audit, APAC at PayPal from 2010 to 2014, and Head of Compliance, ANZ Private Bank, Asia at ANZ from 2009 to 2010. Anthony P also served as a Board Director and Treasurer at GRC Institute from 2007 to 2010 and as an Executive Director of Regulatory and Compliance at Ernst & Young from 2007 to 2009. Anthony's early career includes a role as Senior Manager, Compliance at IAG from 2005 to 2008.

Anthony P Philpott CPA MAICD has a diverse educational background. Anthony P completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Additionally, they obtained their CPA qualification from CPA Australia with a specialization in accounting. Anthony P also participated in the Asialink Leaders Programme at the University of Melbourne, which enhanced their knowledge and skills in Asian business. Furthermore, Mr. Philpott pursued higher education at UNSW, where they earned an MCom degree in Accounting and Law. Finally, they obtained their undergraduate degree, a BEc, from the University of Tasmania, majoring in Economics and Accounting.
