Maurine Braun

Maurine Braun is an Associate Director, Toxicology at Verve Therapeutics. Ms. Braun brings extensive drug development experience with a focus on planning, conducting, and managing GLP-compliant safety studies as well as non-GLP in vivo pharmacology studies across several different drug candidates including small molecule, biologics, and genetic therapies. Prior to joining Verve, Ms. Braun was a senior manager of preclinical development at Avrobio. She has held a number of positions at Wave Life Sciences and Novartis specializing in pharmacology and toxicology. Ms. Braun earned a B.S. with honors in neuroscience from The University of Massachusetts Amherst and an M.S. in biomedical sciences from The University of Massachusetts Medical School.
