Dom Marot

Dom Marot has a wealth of experience in the finance and operations field. Dom began their career in 1998 as a Trainee Chartered Accountant with RSM Betty and Dickson. Dom then moved to Instant Office as a Financial Consultant in 2002, followed by Euro Corrugated (Pty) Ltd as a Finance Manager in 2003. In 2004, they took on the role of Financial Controller, Balance Sheet at BT. In 2006, they joined Royal Bank of Scotland Business as a Financial Analyst (Contract) and Coller Capital as a Project Accountant, which they later progressed to Senior Finance Manager and then Finance Manager. In 2015, they joined The University of Western Australia as Manager (Investments) and Rest as Head of Operations, Head of Investment Capability, and Finance and Operations Manager. Most recently, they were appointed VP, Finance and Operations and Director, Finance and Business Performance at Vervoe in 2022.

Dom Marot obtained a Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika in 1998-2001. Dom then completed a Bachelor of Commerce Honours (Accounting) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2002. In 2004, they obtained a Chartered Accountant certification from SAICA CA(SA) and completed their Chartered Accountant qualification from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
