Christopher Barton

Project Manager / Project Engineer at Victrex

Christopher Barton has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Christopher started their career in 2007 as a Mechanical Engineer and Design Engineer at Birse Water / Birse Process. Christopher then worked as a Mechanical Estimating Engineer at Balfour Beatty Engineering Solutions. After that, they joined Veolia Water as a Senior Project Engineer. Christopher further enhanced their skills by working as a Senior Project Engineer at Haden Freeman Limited. Christopher then took on the role of Project Engineer at Baker Hughes, where they were involved in a significant project worth £7.5m. Christopher continued their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Jacobs and later as a Project Engineer at BASF. Christopher's expertise led him to work as a Project Engineer / Project Manager at Warwick Speciality Chemicals Limited. Currently, they are employed as a Project Engineer at Victrex since 2018.

Christopher Barton attended Wigan and Leigh College from 1992 to 1994, where they pursued A Levels in four subjects. Christopher then went on to study Mechanical Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University from 1994 to 1999, completing a Bachelor's Degree in the field.
