Andy Turner

Andy Turner has extensive work experience in the food industry, particularly in technical and quality roles. Andy is currently the Group Head of Technical at The Village Bakery Group, where they are responsible for ensuring food safety, quality, and legality across all manufacturing sites. During their time there, they have worked with major retailers and manufacturers, as well as foodservice customers.

Before joining The Village Bakery Group, Andy was the Bakery Head of Technical at Frank Roberts & Sons Limited. In this role, they had overall responsibility for food safety, quality, and legality across all sites. Andy also played a key role in team development and fostering a quality culture within the organization.

Prior to their role at Frank Roberts & Sons Limited, Andy held various positions at Goodlife Foods Ltd, where they managed a team of technical and quality staff. Andy worked closely with major retailers and foodservice customers to improve audit standards and drive business growth.

Andy's career in the food industry began in 1993, and they held the position of Technical Manager at companies such as Jesse Oldfield, McVities, Daylay Foods, Hazelwood Foods, and Greencore. In these roles, they were responsible for various aspects of technical management.
