Clare Marsland has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources and People Operations. Clare began their career in 2001 as a Candidate Manager at Barclays. In 2006, they moved to Marks and Spencer as a PA to Heads of Womenswear Design. In 2008, they were promoted to People Policy Specialist, where they provided expert employee relations and people policy advice to line managers and up-skilled and coached line managers. In 2013, they took a career break and worked as a Cassis Hostel. In 2015, they joined Sahara as Head of Human Resources, where they were responsible for 35 Head Office and 100 retail based employees. In 2018, they moved to Fox Networks Group as HR Director, (UK equivalent: Senior HR Business Partner) UK and European Functions. In 2020, they became a Freelance HR and People Operations Consultant supporting start-up businesses. In 2021, they joined Vira Health as People Operations Lead and Booths as an HR Specialist. Additionally, in 2009, they founded and developed Marsy Jam, a spicy hot chilli jam.

Clare Marsland obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from The University of Salford between 2004 and 2006. Clare also obtained a Business Studies degree from The University of Bolton between 1995 and 1998. Additionally, Clare has a Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults from the University of Cambridge, which they obtained in August 2012, and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnal and Development, which they obtained in January 2006.
