Randy Kiser

Staunton District Engineer at Virginia Department of Transportation

Before his appointment as the Virginia Department of Transportation's (VDOT) Staunton District Engineer, Randy S. Kiser P.E. served as assistant district administrator for construction and preliminary engineering for the district since 2003.

In this role, he was responsible for direction and oversight of roadway planning, design, environmental issues. right-of-way acquisition, materials design and testing and contract management.

He was formerly resident engineer of the Luray Residency for 11 years, where he was responsible for all VDOT field activities in Clarke, Page and Warren counties.

He was also assistant resident engineer for three years in the Dillwyn Residency in the Lynchburg District.

Kiser began his career with the agency as an engineer trainee in the Staunton District’s Lexington Residency.
