🌍 Pedro Homero (he/him)

Pedro Homero has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2010, they worked as a Visual Content Researcher at Produções Fictícias, SA, where they collaborated on TV shows and had the opportunity to interact with famous comedians. 🌍 Pedro then took on the role of Freelance Translator and Beta Tester at WD, a Western Digital company, where they translated menus for media center devices and received them as gifts for their family. Pedro transitioned to a position as an International Recruiter at Teleperformance Portugal, initially assisting with CV insertion and language validation before discovering their passion for recruitment. 🌍 Pedro eventually became a Senior Recruiter and enjoyed matching candidates with suitable positions. Afterward, Pedro joined Arvato as an International Recruiter, contributing to the growth and success of the company for two years. In 2018, they joined Unbabel as a Senior Recruiter, primarily recruiting Unbabelers in various areas and presenting them at company meetings. Pedro later worked at Remote, starting in 2020, where they were the first recruiter and established a hiring process for the 26-member recruitment team. Currently, Pedro is a Senior Technical Recruiter at Virtasant, utilizing their expertise to source and hire talented individuals.

Pedro Homero (he/him) started their education journey in 1993 at the Universidade da Beira Interior, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies. 🌍 Pedro successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. In 2002, Pedro attended the Escuela de Cine y Televisión Séptima Ars, focusing on Scriptwriting within the field of Film/Cinema/Video Studies. After a year of dedicated learning, they completed the scriptwriting program in 2003. Pedro furthered their education in 2004 at the Universidad CEU San Pablo, enrolling in the Master's degree program in Film/Cinema/Video Studies. 🌍 Pedro completed this program in 2005.
