Darren Hyland

Darren Hyland has a diverse work experience in the field of creative arts and animation. Darren has worked at Virtual Arts Ltd since 2017, initially as a Principal Artist/Animator and later as a Creative Director. In December 2019, they were promoted to the position of Chief Creative Officer.

Prior to their time at Virtual Arts Ltd, Darren worked at Sony for over a decade, starting in October 2006. Darren held the role of Principle/Lead Animator until February 2017.

Their earlier experience includes working at Eurocom from August 1996 to September 2006 as an Artist/Animator.

Darren Hyland attended Ballyfermot Senior College in Dublin. Darren studied animation at the college, but the specific years of their education are not provided.
