Jessica Belcoure Marcetti has a diverse range of work experience in the museum and nonprofit sectors. Jessica gained extensive experience in community engagement and fundraising as a Senior Manager and Manager at Vista Maria, where they raised significant funds for the organization and led initiatives to combat human trafficking.

In their role as the Volunteer Coordinator at Edsel & Eleanor Ford House, Jessica expanded and formalized the volunteer program, doubling turnout for events and increasing corporate engagement. Jessica also worked as an Education Programs Coordinator, where they evaluated and expanded programming for this historic house museum.

Jessica also has experience in the professional association sector, serving as a Volunteer on various committees at the Michigan Museums Association. Jessica assisted with program selection, created social media plans, and edited the association's monthly newsletter.

Prior to that, Jessica worked at the University of Florida, where they held positions such as Collections Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator for the Panama Canal Museum Collection, and Graduate Assistant and Education Intern in arts management and museum education.

Jessica also has experience in social media management, having worked as a Social Media Manager for Roma Cafe, and in education advisory roles, having worked as an Education Advisor for the Cade Museum for Creativity + Invention.

Jessica began their career in the museum field at the Michigan Historical Museum, where they gained experience in visitor experience and education, as well as community relations. Throughout their work experience, they have demonstrated a passion for creating engaging and meaningful experiences for museum visitors and empowering the communities they serve.

Jessica Belcoure Marcetti completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Anthropology and Museum Studies at Central Michigan University from 2003 to 2007. Jessica then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Museum Studies from the University of Florida from 2009 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Jessica also acquired several certifications throughout their career. Jessica obtained the "Managing at UF: The Supervisory Challenge Certificate" from the University of Florida Office of Human Resource Service in August 2016. Jessica also received a "Volunteer Management Certificate of Achievement" from Volunteer Florida in December 2009. The most recent certification they obtained is the "Certified Volunteer Administrator" from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration in April 2020.
