Matthew Svihlik

Matthew Svihlik has a diverse range of work experience. Matthew started their career in 2013 as a Route Delivery Driver at Home City Ice. In 2014, they worked as an Aircraft Fueler at ASIG and as an Expo/Food Runner at The Boardwalk Upper Deck. In 2015, Matthew became a Crew Scheduler at Republic Airways, ensuring flights departed on time with a legal and qualified crew. In 2016, they worked as a Valet Attendant at MVP Parking Corporation, parking and retrieving customer vehicles. In 2017, Matthew had multiple roles including a Materials Specialist at Constant Aviation, a Ticket Agent/Baggage Handler at Avflight, and a Service Scheduler at Textron Aviation. At Textron Aviation, they scheduled operators into the service center for maintenance and coordinated with the parts department. From 2020 to 2023, Matthew served as a Flight Coordinator at Journey Aviation, responsible for the scheduling and execution of flights. Matthew'slatest role, starting in 2023, is as a Flight Support Agent at VistaJet, where they take care of the operational aspects of logistics and ground services for each flight.

Matthew Svihlik attended Avon Lake High School from 2006 to 2010, where they received their high school diploma. Following that, they enrolled at Lorain County Joint Vocational School District in 2009 and completed the Teacher Education Exploration Program. From 2010 to 2014, Matthew attended Kent State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology. In 2016, they briefly studied at the FAA Academy to become an Air Traffic Controller.
