José Luis Castro

José Luis Castro is the Chief Executive Officer at Vital Strategies, where José Luis works with governments and civil society organizations globally to address public health issues. Previously, José Luis served as the Executive Director at The Union, overseeing global projects and partnerships. José also held various leadership roles at the World Health Organization, New York City Department of Health, and City of Philadelphia. José Luis has a Master of Arts in International Relations from King's College London, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Pace University.
