Jason Yau

Jason Yau has extensive work experience in the field of science and research. Jason is currently employed at VitriVax as a Senior Scientist since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at LightDeck Diagnostics from October 2020 to January 2023, first as a Scientist II and then as a Senior Scientist. Jason also worked at Velocity Sciences as a Scientist II from May 2020 to October 2020. Before that, Jason was a Staff Scientist at HealthTell from June 2018 to May 2020. Jason also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford from September 2016 to May 2018. Jason's career started at the Hospital for Sick Children, where they worked as a Ph.D. Candidate from September 2009 to August 2016 and as a Research Student from May 2009 to August 2009. Jason also gained research experience as a Research Student at the University of Toronto from May 2008 to August 2008. Additionally, Jason worked as an Office Assistant at the Ware Academy of Music from September 2002 to August 2006.

Jason Yau pursued their education in the field of Biochemistry at the University of Toronto. Jason obtained a Bachelor of Science degree (Honours) in Biochemistry from the same institution, which they completed between 2005 and 2009. Following that, they furthered their studies at the University of Toronto and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Biochemistry, a program that they successfully completed from 2009 to 2016.
