Troy Fodstad

Troy Fodstad has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Troy is currently serving as the Director of Research and Product Development at VMG Health since October 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager at the same company from February 2021 to October 2022.

From 2015 to 2021, Troy worked as a Consultant at Health Care Futures, where they provided various financial forecast modeling services, financial feasibility testing, mergers and acquisitions support, and physician-health system partnership guidance. Troy was responsible for administering physician compensation and developing technically sophisticated business functions and solutions.

Before their tenure at Health Care Futures, Troy worked at the Bureau of Labor Statistics from 2010 to 2015. Troy started as a Field Economist in June 2010 and was later promoted to Senior Field Economist, a position they held from June 2013 to February 2015.

In addition to their professional experience, Troy served in the Minnesota Army National Guard as a Section Sergeant/Aviation Electrician from June 2002 to December 2014.

Troy Fodstad obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, which they completed between 2004 and 2007. Later, in 2009, they acquired a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics, also from the University of Minnesota. Continuing their education, Troy pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, where they studied from 2013 to 2015.
