Ashwini Rasal

Ashwini Rasal is a Mechanical Design Engineer currently employed at Volvo Trucks North America since November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the New Jersey Institute of Technology from January to May 2022 and working as a Mechanical Engineer at IIGP between August 2019 and March 2020. At IIGP, Ashwini focused on design and analysis of components such as hydraulic pumps and crane columns, utilizing CAD software including CREO and Solidworks. Additional experience includes a role as a Design Engineer at thyssenkrupp Industries India, where Ashwini designed a deaerator and developed 2D and 3D models using NX-CAD and CREO. An early internship at Hind Industries Ltd provided exposure to industrial processes and further expertise in design and simulation software. Ashwini holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
