About the role

As the Website Marketing Manager, you will lead our website strategy with a primary focus on analysing the user experience and creating improvements to driving conversion of both registrations of interest and online purchases. Your passion for creating an optimised online experience will be crucial in ensuring our website meets the needs and expectations of our broadband customers in rural communities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain a website that is not only engaging and easy to navigate but also fully aligned with our broader marketing objectives. Your role will involve creating and leveraging data insights to continuously improve our online presence and drive meaningful customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Website Ownership: Take ownership of the website to ensure it reflects our brand identity and values. Constantly monitor and optimise user experience and conversion funnels to deliver sales outcomes.
  2. Content Management: Utilise a front-end Statamic CMS to manage content effectively.
  3. Analytics and Reporting: Monitor weekly conversions, user journeys, and website performance, provide regular reporting and use strong analytical skills to deliver actionable insights to maximise website performance and identify key drivers for website traffic, engagement, and conversion by marketing source.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align website updates with overall marketing strategies and goals. Communicate recommendations for content and user experience improvements.
  5. Project Management: Collaborate with website development teams and agencies to implement updates and enhancements. Brief stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
  6. Tag Management: Solid understanding of digital marketing tags and their role in tracking website performance and user behaviour. Experience with tag management systems (TMS) such as Google Tag Manager or Adobe Dynamic Tag Management is beneficial. The ability to collaborate with the technical team to implement and manage tags effectively, ensuring accurate data collection and reporting for digital marketing campaigns, is essential.
  7. SEO Understanding: A strong understanding of search engine optimisation principles and best practices is essential. The candidate should be familiar with keyword research, and content optimisation strategies. Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush is preferred. The ability to collaborate with content creators and developers to implement SEO strategies and improve website visibility and organic search rankings is crucial.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Experience in website management role owning the company’s website

  2. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights to optimise website performance. Must be able to use and interpret GA and Hotjar plus other website reporting and optimisation tools.

  3. Content Creation: Proficiency in creating engaging content and updating websites using front-end CMS platforms.

  4. Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong time management and prioritisation skills are essential.

  5. Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external agencies to achieve common goals.

  6. Technical Knowledge: Understanding of website development processes and technologies. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

  7. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

  8. Website Affiliate Marketing: Experience with affiliate marketing strategies and techniques with the ability to leverage affiliate partnerships to drive traffic and conversions on the website.

  9. Salesforce Knowledge and Experience (Preferred): While not mandatory, candidates with knowledge and experience in Salesforce CRM systems will be at an advantage.
