Farah Alkhatib, PhD, serves as a Lecturer and Academic Tutor at The University of Western Australia since February 2020, focusing on creating effective learning environments and fostering student engagement. In addition, Farah is a Lecturer at the Engineering Institute of Technology and an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Concurrently, Farah conducts PhD research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at Qatar University, where design and fabrication of engineering structures were accomplished using advanced software and machinery. Early career roles include External Relations Team Leader at IAESTE Jordan, Research Assistant at the Institut für Polymerwerkstoffe und Kunststofftechnik, and Mechanical Engineer at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. Farah holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Western Australia, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Qatar University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan.
