Katherine Bowler has a diverse work experience in software engineering and teaching. Katherine began their career in 2009 as a Cashier/Peer Tutor at Gap Inc./Old Navy, where they provided outstanding customer service and was a trusted cash handler. In 2013, they worked as a Teacher Candidate at DSBN. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Science Teacher at de Stafford School, where they tracked pupil progress and provided interventions for students who were not meeting their expected grade. In 2016, they worked as a Web Developer at Founders & Coders C.I.C. and as a Full Stack Developer at DWYL. At DWYL, they worked closely with clients to design, build, and deploy software using Agile practices, successfully completing & running handover training on 3 projects. From 2018 to 2019, Katherine worked as a Consulting Software Engineer at Thimble Consulting, Casper, and Walden Local Meat Co.
Katherine Bowler obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education from Brock University between 2013 and 2014. Katherine also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, General from Brock University between 2008 and 2014. In October 2014, they obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) from the National College for Teaching & Leadership.
