Robert R. Kent is the Senior Vice President and Team Leader of Commercial Lending at Washington Trust. Robert has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, including previous positions as a Senior Relationship Manager responsible for developing and managing middle market C&I and Non-Profit relationships and as a Vice President responsible for developing and managing middle market C&I relationships. Prior to their current position, Mr. Kent was a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for analyzing bad debt exposure related to international and domestic reinsurance companies. Robert devised collection strategies and settlement models as well as litigation alternatives. Additionally, they managed the letter of credit staff overseeing a $750 million dollar portfolio.

Robert R. Kent completed their undergraduate degree at Northeastern University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
