Anahi Santoyo Castelazo is a Senior Scientist at Waters Corporation since January 2020, specializing as a subject matter expert in newborn screening with a focus on LC-MS method development for small molecule applications, kit/product development, and customer support. Prior to this role, Anahi served as a Research Assistant and later as Research Staff in the Antimicrobial Pharmacodynamics and Therapeutics Group at the University of Liverpool from October 2015 to December 2019, developing and applying LC-MS methodologies for the analysis of hepatotoxic drugs and small molecules in biological samples, while ensuring compliance with GCP/GCLP standards. Anahi's career began at the University of Liverpool as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from September 2009 to January 2014, where investigations on hepatotoxic drugs in various models were undertaken in collaboration with AstraZeneca. Anahi holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmacy and a Master's degree in Applied Microbiology, both from the University of Nottingham.
