Katy S. has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Starting in 1996, they worked as an Integrated Logistics Support Engineer at Racal Communications until 2001. From 2002 to 2005, they held roles in Bid & Proposals and Support & Services Strategy at Thales Communications. Katy then joined NWG (Northumbrian Water Group) in 2005 and worked as an Economic Regulation (Pricing) expert, setting annual prices and representing the company in industry forums until 2016. Katy then joined NWG Business Limited in 2016 as a Regulation & Compliance Manager, involved in the creation of a new non-household water retail business. Katy joined Wave Utilities in 2017 and held various roles including Reporting & MI Manager, Head of Data Strategy & MI, Head of Data Strategy, and currently serves as Head of Data Integrity. Throughout their career, Katy has demonstrated expertise in improving data quality, developing business reporting, and strategic leadership in the field of data management.

Katy S. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in French with Mathematics from the University of Central Lancashire from 1992 to 1996. Katy then pursued a Master of Science degree in Logistics Engineering at the University of Exeter from 1998 to 2001.

Additionally, Katy obtained a certification titled "Learning to Be Approachable" from LinkedIn in May 2019.
