Sunil Saini

Sunil Saini is currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at WayCool Foods since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the same position at CensaNext, where they led data science and data engineering to drive the development and implementation of the embedded AI offering Censa AI. Sunil also spearheaded data democratization efforts and transformed the company into a data-driven enterprise through advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.

Before joining CensaNext, Sunil worked at BharatPe as the Head of Data Science from June 2020 to November 2022. During their tenure, they played a key role in the organization's growth, managed data science for multiple products, and drove the data democratization charter.

In 2020, Sunil briefly served as the Head of Data Science at Tripoto. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Scientist at TheDataTeam from August 2015 to February 2020. There, they created and implemented an advanced data science-powered Customer Intelligence Platform and worked on projects related to customer profiling, automated behavior segmentation, real-time personalization, and dynamic customer behavior analysis.

Sunil's career also includes positions at Standard Chartered Bank, KLB, Indus Valley Partners, and Sefar BV in various capacities. At Standard Chartered Bank, they served as a Lead Business Analyst, working on data standardization and building a simplified business data layer.

Sunil Saini earned a B.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi from 2004 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their Senior Secondary education in Science from BVM Ludhiana from 2001 to 2003. Sunil also holds additional certifications, including Associate Financial Planner from FPSB, India, Derivatives Markets from National Stock Exchange of India, Distributed Machine Learning with Apache Spark from edX, and Financial Markets from National Stock Exchange of India.
