Jon Farina

Jon Farina is the co-Founder and CTO of WCKD RZR, an enterprise software firm focused on delivering intelligent automated Data Enablement solutions. WCKD RZR’s mission is to unlock the potential of the world’s data.

Formerly, Jon has worked as Head of GBM IT Data Analytics. Whilst at HSBC, Jon drove the implementation of GBM data platform strategy, designing and supporting the execution of the GBM data technology roadmap and overseeing the platform and data engineering activities.

Before working at HSBC, Jon has held a plethora of roles as a senior director, heading teams at leading financial institutions, driving the strategy and implementation behind various Capital Markets, Fixed Income, and Equity Derivatives initiatives. Having held multiple positions as an Analyst Developer for Lazard, Credit Suisse, and UBS; Jon undertook his first Management role, leading the RAD stream for Barclays Capitals, Structured Capital Markets division; following this, Jon undertook the task of managing multiple streams of development within the Fixed Income Front Office Trade Capture team, as a Trade Capture Programme Manager. Lastly, before moving to HSBC, Jon became the Applications Development Director, Running the delivery of the Sales and Trading booking platform re-engineering for Equity Derivative for JP Morgan Chase.

Jon Graduated from De Montfort University, Leicester, with a degree in Computing and has leveraged this technical knowledge and experience as an Analyst Developer to lead teams in delivering results the latest technical developments and challenges of his fields.
