Tom Shea

Vice President, Integrated Production at Weber Shandwick

Tom Shea has extensive experience in integrated production and creative content production. Tom began their career at Weber Shandwick in 2007 as a Producer, where they built the company's first in-house production team and led the development of original branded content. Tom also played a key role in establishing a digital content distribution model. Tom then advanced to the position of Senior Producer, where they provided creative direction for branded content, editorial plans, and videos for major companies and non-profits. Tom also supported and consulted with digital teams on content plans and audience development. Some of their notable clients during this time included General Motors, PepsiCo, and Verizon, among others.

In 2013, Tom joined Team Detroit as a Senior Producer, leading the production of creative content for Ford Motor Company's Communications department. Tom managed a team of producers, editors, and videographers and was responsible for driving worldwide earned media coverage through the production of videos and original stories. Tom also served as a primary consultant for clients on digital storytelling, influencer relationships, and production technologies.

Tom returned to Weber Shandwick in 2015 as a Vice President, Integrated Production. In this role, they oversee the creative content production for Chevrolet's social media channels and manages both in-house production teams and large-scale, high-budget productions with production companies and client stakeholders. Tom also utilizes their expertise in production pipelines, content practices, and strategic storytelling to provide actionable intelligence for creative, strategy, and account teams.

Tom Shea attended the University of Michigan from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, with a focus on Film and Video Studies.
