Hugh Wimberly

Hugh Wimberly has a diverse work experience in the technology and research fields. Hugh is currently working as a Software Engineer, Machine Learning Workflows at Weights & Biases since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Data Engineer at Headspace Health from November 2020 to June 2022. As a Data Engineering Consultant at Toptal from April 2018 to April 2020, Hugh provided their expertise in data engineering. Hugh also has experience as a Senior Backend Engineer at Udacity from February 2015 to September 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer III at Google from February 2012 to February 2015 and as a Scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory from May 2011 to December 2011.

Hugh Wimberly obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the years 2003 to 2007. Hugh continued their education at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, where they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Science from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Hugh Wimberly also obtained two certifications in 2018: AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon.
