Huazhuo Lin has over 20 years of work experience, primarily in the utilities sector. Currently, they serve as the Chief Data & Analytics Officer at WEL Networks, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to this, from March 2016 to February 2020, they worked as the Principal Advisor at the same company. huazhuo has also held various roles at WEL Networks, including Performance and Asset Investment Manager from December 2004 to March 2016, Performance and Quality Manager in 2004, Performance and Data Manager from February 2004 to June 2004, and Asset Performance Manager from September 2002 to January 2004.
In addition to their work at WEL Networks, Huazhuo Lin has also been involved in community organizations. From July 2015 to July 2018, they served as the Chairperson of the Hamilton Chinese Community Centre Trust. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2015, they were a Trustee at the Hamilton Mandarin Church.
Huazhuo Lin holds a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management, obtained in 2018. Prior to this, from 2012 to 2014, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDIP) in Management Studies at The University of Waikato. In 2011, they also earned a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership from the same institution. Earlier in their education, from 1999 to 2002, Huazhuo Lin pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance with a focus on Accounting and Economics at The University of Waikato. They also hold a Master of Science in Financial Mathematics, which they acquired from The University of Waikato between 1997 and 1999. Lastly, Huazhuo Lin completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Computational Mathematics at Xiamen University, graduating in 1985.
