Christiane Hertz-Fowler

Christiane Hertz-Fowler is an accomplished academic and leader in the field of pathogen genomics, currently serving as the Head of Directed Activity, Discovery Research, and Head of Infection and Immunobiology at Wellcome Trust since October 2019. Concurrently, Christiane holds multiple significant positions at the University of Liverpool, including Professor in Pathogen Genomics, Dean of the Institute of Integrative Biology, Co-director of the Centre for Genomic Research, and Deputy Head of the Institute of Integrative Biology, roles undertaken since November 2009.
