Timothy J. Theriault

Timothy Theriault is former executive vice president and global chief information officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. Prior to this position, he served in leadership positions at Walgreens as senior vice president and chief information, innovation and improvement officer from 2012 to 2014 and as executive vice president and chief information officer from 2009 to 2012.

Additionally, Mr. Theriault worked for Northern Trust Corporation from 1991 to 2009, as president of corporate and institutional services, president of worldwide operations and technology, and executive vice president and chief technology officer.

Mr. Theriault has served on customer advisory boards for Cisco Systems, Oracle, Hewlett Packard, Sutter Hill Ventures and O'Connor and Associates. Mr. Theriault has served as a board member for Surescripts, the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation, the Make a Wish Foundation and Vitamin Shoppe. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Alliance Data Systems. In 2012, Mr. Theriault was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame.

Mr. Theriault received a B.A. in business administration from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois in 1982, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University Business School in 2007.
