Zachary Weber

Zachary Weber currently serves as a Principal Research Associate at Westat, leading data management for CDC surveillance studies related to COVID-19, influenza, and RSV, overseeing millions of patient records. Prior to this role, Zachary held positions as a Senior Research Analytics Specialist at Government Resource Center and as a Graduate School Fellow at The Ohio State University. Experience includes consulting as a Data Consultant at Metrica, where extensive research was conducted using mortgage and housing data, and as a Graduate Assistant at Grand Valley State University, providing support in statistics. Earlier roles include an internship with the Biostatistics Core at Van Andel Institute and as an Associate Health Analyst for Ottawa County Department of Public Health, with a focus on data management and trend analysis. Zachary began a career in education as a Mathematics Teacher at East Lansing Public Schools. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Epidemiology and a Master’s in Biostatistics from The Ohio State University and Grand Valley State University, respectively, alongside a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Grand Valley State University.
