Dave Plunkett

Dave Plunkett is an experienced legal professional with a strong background in the energy sector. Currently serving as the Head of Legal and Commercial at WestWind Energy Pty Ltd since December 2022, Dave previously held the position of General Counsel at Amp Energy from March 2021 to December 2022. Prior roles include General Manager - Legal & Commercial and Head of Legal at SIMEC Energy Australia, as well as Head of Strategic Projects and Legal at Qenos, where significant achievements included securing long-term gas supply and managing a Cogeneration project. Dave began their career as a Business Lawyer at Orica and was a Senior Associate at Mallesons Stephen Jaques, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions. Dave holds an LLB in Law from Victoria University of Wellington.
