Calin Balajiu

Calin Balajiu has extensive work experience in Quality Assurance (QA) engineering. Calin started their career as a System Test Engineer at Continental in 2008 and worked there until 2010. Calin then joined Alcatel-Lucent as a QA Engineer from 2010 to 2012. Balajiu later worked at 3Pillar Global, where they served in various roles such as QA Engineer from 2012 to 2013, Senior QA Engineer from 2013 to 2014, and Module Lead QA from 2015 to 2015. Calin then joined OPSWAT as a Senior Software QA Engineer from 2015 to 2016 and later became the QA Team Lead from 2016 to 2018. Currently, Balajiu is working at WeVideo, where they began as a QA Automation Engineer in 2018. Calin then served as a QA Lead from 2019 to the present, and they have recently taken on the role of QA Engineering Manager starting in 2022.

Calin Balajiu graduated from 'Mihai Eminescu' National College, Oradea in 2004, where they studied Informatics. Calin then attended Politehnica University Timisoara from 2004 to 2009 and obtained a degree in Computer Science. In 2014, they received the ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
