Peggy Rubenzer

Peggy Rubenzer has a diverse and extensive work experience in various companies. Peggy began their career at Southwest Airlines in 1989 as a Regional Employment Manager in the Midwest. Peggy then joined The Nexus Group in 1999 as the EVP of People. In 2002, they joined PF Chang's China Bistro, Inc and held various roles such as VP Training and Development and VP People Services until 2011. From 2011 to 2019, they worked at Shake Shack as the Senior Vice President of People Resources, overseeing training, HR practices, and recruitment. Most recently, they served as the Chief People Officer at True Food Kitchen from 2019 to 2022, and currently holds the same position at Whataburger since 2022.
