Jacky Hopwood

Jacky Hopwood is an experienced human resources professional currently serving as Chief People Officer at Whiddon since June 2020. Prior to this, Jacky held the position of Head of People & Culture at Allity Aged Care, where leadership and coaching of the People and Culture function were key responsibilities. Experience includes roles as HR Manager at Optus and Senior HR Business Partner at Jones Lang LaSalle, with a strong focus on HR strategy development, talent management, and employee relations. Jacky began a career in HR at Insurance Advisernet Australia as HR & Training Manager, where significant achievements included leading culture change initiatives and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Social Science in Tourism from the University of Newcastle and a Graduate Certificate in HR Management from TAFE.
