Melanie (Mel) Larsen has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Melanie (Mel) began their career as a Special Events Intern at Gay & Lesbian Advocates & Defenders in 2006. Melanie (Mel) then moved to a Development Assistant role at the same organization in 2008. In 2010, Mel began working at Harvard School of Public Health as a Coordinator. In 2012, they joined LevelUp (by SCVNGR) as a Customer Support Agent, Relationship Manager, and Tier 2 Support Team Lead. In 2013, they moved to the Center for Communicable Disease Dynamics (CCDD) as an Outreach Manager & Recruiter. Melanie (Mel) also held a similar role at Harvard School of Public Health in the same year. In 2015, Mel joined Help Scout as a Finance & People Operations, Customer Billing Specialist. Melanie (Mel) then moved to Shortcut, The Artist FKA Clubhouse Software in 2018 as a Customer Success Manager, Customer Support. Her most recent role is Senior Customer Success Manager at Whimsical, where they work with customers to help them have a better day while they use the software to collaborate.

Melanie Larsen attended Colby College from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their B.A. in Government and Italian Studies. During their time at Colby College, they also studied at Università degli Studi di Padova from 2006 to 2007.
