Ron Gird
Science Advisor-expedition Chesapeake at Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts
Ron Gird is a retired meteorologist with a diverse background in various science advisory roles. ron has represented NOAA and NWS in the Expedition Chesapeake Project, collaborated with NOAA Line Offices for education resources, and managed the NWS Outreach Program. Gird also served as a Science Advisor to the Young Meteorologist Program and was a board member at Penn State University's College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Penn State University.
