Job Title: Community Ambassador

Location: Liskeard Office and travel across Cornwall & Devon. 

Salary: £27,000 per annum, with access to pool vehicles for travel. Commission (to be discussed at interview)

Role Purpose: The primary purpose of the Community Ambassador is to secure the company’s growth with engaging and warming up a potential go live town across Cornwall and Devon by generating brand awareness and leads to feed the sales channel.

Main Responsibilities: The Ambassadors are responsible for contributing to the wider teams objectives and delivering and driving leads and community engagement, and being the face for the Wildanet brand within the pre-selling stages of our sales release program.

Key Activities:

While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include:

  • A solid background in sales and Driving customer engagement across events, shows and door to door.

  • Manage your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets.

  • Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues.

  • Demonstrate ability to plan, engage and execute community scheduled activity with the aim to boost the Wildanet Brand

  • Present a willingness to learn.

  • Confident on systems with experience of Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Be committed, professional, reliable, target driven and ambitious.

  • Excellent /confident verbal and written communication skills.

  • Have a can-do attitude and the desire to deliver a quality service to customers.

  • Understand the importance of community engagement and understanding how to drive the local community to engage with a brand

  • Be enthusiastic about sales and a team player.

  • Capable of learning and keeping up to date on our product offerings.

  • Helping customers find pre-contract solutions.

  • Work with the Marketing and Community Liaison team to build launch events.

  • Ensuring quality and compliance standards.

  • Meeting and exceeding operational sales targets consistently.

  • Demonstrating and enforcing company standards and brand values.

Essential Person Specification

Knowledge:

  • MS office & CRM knowledge

  • Internet & social networking understanding

  • Knowledge and understanding of the importance of community engagement at door to door, event & community level

  • Understanding of the importance of delivering exceptional customer service

  • IT knowledge (desirable)

Skills/Attributes:

  • Strong customer engagement experience & be passionate about sales, with a desire to exceed all sales targets

Qualifications:

  • Driving licence essential

  • Good level of education

Circumstances:

  • This role will involve travelling throughout Cornwall or Devon where required
  • Performance against profitable revenue targets,
  • Interaction with all types of customers
  • Work with others to achieve Lead Team targets and goals
  • Professional dress code applies
  • Evening and weekend might be required and where applicable overnight stays
