Thomas Reckefuss

Thomas Reckefuss has worked in the maritime industry for over 15 years. Thomas started their career as a student intern at SDC Shipdesign, where they were mostly involved in hydrostatic calculations, intact stability, damage stability, 3D ship modeling, and weight calculation. Thomas later founded Naval Architecture Services, where they developed specific software for the naval architecture industry. In January 2017, they joined Thomas Schulte Ship Management as Division Head Asia. In this role, they were responsible for managing the construction of new ships in Asia. Thomas is currently VP, Business Development at Wilhelmsen group.

Thomas Reckefuss has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration, a Dipl. Ing Naval Architect (master) from Hochschule Bremen in the field of Shipdesign, Hydrodynamics, and -statics, and a Maschinenbau from Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften Hamburg (HAW Hamburg). Thomas also has an ISM, ISPS, MLC, internal Auditor certification from DNV GL Training.

Thomas Reckefuss reports to Carl Schou, CEO & President. They are on a team with Jan Eyvin Wang - EVP, New Energy, Benedicte Teigen Gude - EVP, HR, Culture & Communication, and Hakon Lenz - COO.
