Richard Hanks

Richard Hanks has extensive experience in various leadership roles, primarily as a Chief Financial Officer. Richard'smost recent position was as the Chief Financial Officer at Williams Lea since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Clarivate Analytics from March 2017 to July 2022. From 2013 to 2017, they held the role of Chief Financial Officer at BDP International, where they were responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of the company's operations in 40 countries. Before that, Richard served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Infogroup from 2010 to 2013, and as the Chief Commercial Officer, Enterprise Media Division at Dow Jones, a News Corp Company from 2009 to 2010. Richard also had leadership roles at Factiva, A Dow Jones & Reuters Company, Reuters Group PLC, Financial Times Group, and SmithKline Beecham PLC, where they gained valuable experience in financial management and strategic planning.

Richard Hanks attended Nottingham University Business School from 1982 to 1985, where they obtained a BA Honours degree in Industrial Economics. Richard also holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), obtained in 1988.
