Marie Ballard Flatau

Marie Ballard Flatau has a strong background in the wine industry, with over 16 years of experience. Marie currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Winebow, where they have been working since 2015. Prior to this role, they served as a District Manager at Winebow. From 2013 to 2015, Marie worked at Vias Imports Ltd as the SE Regional Manager. Before that, they were an Area Manager at Palm Bay International from 2007 to 2013. Marie's career in the wine industry began in 2005 at Georgia Crown Distributing Company, where they worked in sales until 2008.

Marie Ballard Flatau attended the University of Georgia from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a BBA degree in Marketing. In 2010, they received certification as a Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators. In 2011, Marie pursued advanced studies in wine and became an Advanced Sommelier at the Court of Master Sommeliers. Additionally, in 2022, they obtained certification as a Women in Leadership Industry Expert from Emory Continuing Education.
