David Walton has a comprehensive work experience spanning over three decades. David began their career in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, where they received military honors and held a Top Secret security clearance. Following their honorable discharge, David worked at Airborne Express as an Aircraft Maintenance & Inspection Quality Assurance CASE Level 3 Auditor. David then joined Skybus Airlines as the Director of Quality/Chief Inspector, where they played a crucial role in the airline's establishment and certification.
In 2006, David joined Boeing as a Quality and Safety/Part M Post Holder Manager, where they oversaw the establishment of a quality system based on aviation regulations. David also held various leadership positions at Boeing, including Senior Quality Manager for the 747 program and Quality Leader for the Supplier Quality Program Support and America East Supplier Quality Field Operations.
Most recently, David served as the Director of Quality & Safety at Wisk, and prior to that, they were a Quality Leader for the Fabrication Division at Boeing, responsible for ensuring quality management system compliance at multiple manufacturing sites. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated expertise in quality management, strategic projects, supplier quality, and aviation regulations.
David Walton has a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a Certificate of Servant Leadership from Gonzaga University. David also has a BS in Professional Aero with a Minor in Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University. David has participated in a Boeing Aviation Industry Manufacturing Symposium at the University of Washington. David has also studied Lean Manufacturing at the University of Kentucky.
