Shaheed Abdol

Shaheed Abdol has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Shaheed began their career at Trace Digital Services in 2013 as a Web Developer, Software Designer, and Digital Book Typesetter. In this role, they typeset EPUBS and converted them to MOBI format, developed web apps for company use, and created websites for the company and their clients. Shaheed then moved on to work as a Senior Developer at Web Design Cape Town, where they were responsible for web development and had no junior developers on their team.

In 2007, Shaheed joined Scansoft Technologies as a Senior Developer, a position they held until 2013. At Scansoft Technologies, they played a significant role in software development. Shaheed then returned to Trace Digital Services in the same year as a Software Developer. In this role, they developed internal applications for company use, created a Python CGI web interface to automate functions, and managed daily operations.

Finally, Shaheed joined Wonderlabz in 2014 as a Senior Developer, where they develop and maintains cross-platform applications using various programming languages such as NDK, Java, Python, and C++. Shaheed also manages the production of the company's cross-platform OpenFL client application and maintains a core C++ product.

Shaheed Abdol attended Rylands High School from 1999 to 2003, where they completed their Matric degree. During this time, their field of study included Maths, Physics, Biology, and Geography. After completing high school, from 2004 to 2007, Shaheed joined Stellenbosch University/Universiteit Stellenbosch. Although they did not complete their degree, they pursued a BA (S.I) incomplete in the field of Socio Informatics.
