Paul Benson

Paul Benson is the Corporate VP of Human Resources at Woodward. Prior to this, they were the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Esterline Technologies Corporation from November 2014 to March 2019. There, they lead the global HR function for a public $2B A&D technology and manufacturing company with over 14,000 employees in 25 countries. Paul's responsibilities included HR business partners, total rewards, talent management, organization development, talent acquisition, L&D, HRIS, and HR shared services. Paul also had a $18M annual budget and reported directly to the CEO. Paul has full Board responsibilities and was the management lead for Comp Committee. Paul has also led the talent and HR transformation of a decentralized holding company to a global enterprise. This included embedded cloud-based HR tools and systems as well as implementing enterprise-wide HR programs (job architecture, performance, merit, talent, recruiting, HR operations) where none existed. Paul is a trusted adviser to the CEO and C-suite.

Before their time at Esterline Technologies Corporation, Paul Benson was the Sr. Director, HR Business Partner, Transformation at Hewlett-Packard from October 2006 to October 2014. And before that, they were the HR Director - M&A, Staffing and Workforce Mobility at Intel from June 1996 to October 2006.

Paul Benson has a MBA in Finance from Arizona State University and a BA in Business/Managerial Economics from St. Martin's College.
