Isabelle Leliaert has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Isabelle is currently working at the World Economic Forum as the Manager of Work, Wages, and Job Creation. In this role, they set the global workforce agenda and manages initiatives focused on workforce strategy and the future of work. Prior to this, they held roles in corporate engagement at the World Economic Forum, specifically in the Centre for the New Economy and Society and the Consumer Industries department.

Before their time at the World Economic Forum, Isabelle worked on a project called "Mind the Gap" at Home from September 2017 to March 2019. Isabelle also served as the Commercial Director at Virtua SA from January 2016 to August 2017 and as the Managing Director at B·U·T global from September 2013 to November 2015.

Isabelle's early career included a role as a Startup CEO in South East Asia at Digilis from January 2011 to September 2013. Isabelle also worked as a Project Manager at Afa Press from May 2007 to October 2010, where they produced economic features on emerging markets published in renowned news outlets. Additionally, they had a UN assignment on Gender Equality from August 2005 to January 2006 and served as a Diplomatic Department Executive at the Belgian Embassy in Washington DC from August 2004 to August 2005.

Isabelle Leliaert completed their Bachelor's degree in Political and Social Sciences from Ghent University from the years 2000 to 2002. Isabelle then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Sociological Sciences from Ghent University from the years 2002 to 2004.
