Uxio Malvido has extensive work experience in human resources and talent management roles. Uxio started their career at Accenture as a Change Management Consultant, where they gained experience in HR projects and leadership assessments. Uxio then worked at MSD as a Learning and Development Manager, Senior Manager for Organizational Development, and Diversity and Inclusion Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Canada. At MSD, they led various initiatives such as implementing a leadership model, redesigning recruitment processes, and developing a regional diversity approach.

Malvido later joined Rio Tinto as a Principal Adviser for Talent Management, where they focused on embedding diversity and inclusion practices throughout the talent management cycle. Uxio redesigned talent review processes and led the implementation of unconscious bias trainings globally.

Uxio then worked at LafargeHolcim as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, Engagement, and Inclusion. Uxio led the implementation of a Pulse Survey to measure employee perceptions after a merger, developed a global approach for talent acquisition, and managed global agreements with executive search firms.

Malvido then joined Arriva Danmark as a Non Executive Director, participating in the review and approval of financial statements and ESG criteria.

After that, they joined Arriva Group as the Divisional HR Director for Mainland Europe and later became the Global HR Director for Functional Operating Model and HR Transformation. In these roles, they led transformation programs, facilitated talent reviews, and deployed Workday across Europe.

Currently, Malvido is the Head of People Services and Partnering at the World Economic Forum, where they oversee HR operations, employee relations, and compensation and benefits strategy. Uxio also leads a team of HR business partners.

In addition to their corporate experience, Malvido has been an Advisory Board Member for the non-profit organization Generacciona, which promotes generational diversity in organizations and conducts research on talent leverage.

Throughout their career, Malvido has demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, talent management, diversity and inclusion, and transformation programs.

Uxio Malvido has a diverse education history spanning various fields. Uxio completed their Bachelor's degree in Inorganic Chemistry at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela in 1992. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology at the same university, graduating in 1994.

To further their education, Uxio enrolled at the IE Business School in 2001 and obtained a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management in 2002. Later, in 2012, they attended the Université Paris Dauphine - PSL, where they pursued a Master's degree in Cross-Cultural Management, focusing on Intercultural/Multicultural and Diversity Studies.

Aside from their formal education, Uxio also earned several certifications. In 2014, they completed "The Science of Everyday Thinking" course from edX, offered by UQx. Additionally, in 2015, they obtained certifications from edX for courses such as "Super-Earths and Life" from HarvardX and "Framing: Creating powerful political messages" from DelftX. Uxio further expanded their knowledge and skills by completing a certification in "Python for Data Science" from DataCamp in 2017. In 2018, they obtained a certification in "Organizational Design" from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB). Most recently, in 2020, Uxio completed a course on "China's Political and Intellectual Foundations" offered by HarvardX.
