Ivana Knezevic is a seasoned scientist and team leader at the World Health Organization, specializing in norms and standards for biological products since 2000. Ivana's role encompasses leadership of a multidisciplinary team, coordination of scientific projects related to biological standardization, and development of guidelines for vaccines and biotherapeutic products. Prior experience includes serving as head of the laboratory for viral vaccines at the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency of Serbia, overseeing licensing and quality control of biologicals. Ivana holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Virology, a Master of Science in Medical Microbiology and Immunology, and a Doctor of Medicine degree, all from institutions within Serbia.
