Clay Bolt currently serves as the Manager of Pollinator Conservation for the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), overseeing the Northern Great Plains Program and leading communications strategies that support conservation efforts. With extensive experience in communications, Bolt has held multiple roles at WWF, including Senior Communications Lead, and has been involved with several conservation organizations, such as the International League of Conservation Photographers and the International League of Conservation Writers. As the owner of Clay Bolt Nature Photography, Bolt specializes in macro photography, focusing on Southern Appalachian biodiversity. Educational accomplishments include a graduate degree in Communications for Conservation from Colorado State University and a certificate in Bee Taxonomy and Conservation from the American Museum of Natural History & Cornell University.
