John King

John King has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John most recently worked as a Senior Simulation Software Engineer at Woven by Toyota since July 2021. Prior to that, they took a planned career break in 2020 and worked as a Senior Hands-On Software Engineer/Engineering Manager.

From 2018 to 2020, John worked at Goldman Sachs, first as the Asia Co-Head, Macro (Rates + FX) Technology and later as a Senior Engineer. Before joining Goldman Sachs, they held various positions at Nomura, including APAC Head of Rates IT and Executive Director, from 2011 to 2018. John's earlier experience includes working for RBS Global Banking and Markets as the Manager of Strategic IT Development from 1997 to 2011 and for MSI (Molecular Simulations Inc) as a Senior Development Scientist from 1994 to 1997.

John King attended the University of Cambridge from 1987 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences with a focus on Chemistry. John continued their education at Cambridge and completed both a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in the same field of study.
